Our Story

how it began

The couple

We met in 2019 over coffee at a noodle stand in Phuket Old Town - Napat was visiting from Bangkok, Ploy was opening her studio nearby. We talked through three iced coffees, walked the whole town twice, and never really stopped talking after that.

Five years, two house moves and one very loud dog later, Napat proposed at sunset over the Andaman Sea. We are still talking. And now we are very, very ready to dance.

    A short Buddhist morning ceremony - guests pour scented water over our hands and offer good wishes. Brunch served immediately after.

Farewell

Travel

Koh Samui has its own airport (USM) with direct daily flights from Bangkok, Phuket, Singapore and Hong Kong. Below is the short version - the FAQ has more detail.

By Air

One short hop

From Phuket: 1 hour 20 minutes direct on Bangkok Airways. From Bangkok (BKK or DMK): hourly flights, 1 hour 10 minutes. From Singapore: direct via Bangkok Airways or Scoot.

By Ferry

The scenic route

If you would rather not fly the last leg - fly to Surat Thani (URT) and connect via a 90-minute ferry from Donsak Pier. Adds half a day but the journey is pretty.

From The Airport

We will be there

Tell us your flight on the RSVP form and we will arrange a complimentary transfer from Koh Samui airport (USM) directly to Anantara Lawana. About 15 minutes by road.

Suggested Arrival Window

Arrive any time on Friday 13 November (check-in from 2 PM). Latest sensible arrival: Saturday 14 November before 12 noon - you would miss the morning blessing but make the ceremony.
